Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s record-breaking $56bn (£47bn) pay award won’t be reinstated, a decide has dominated.

“The concept of battle guidelines is to guard all buyers” not just minority investors, said Charles Elson of the University of Delaware’s Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance.
Mr Elson said Judge McCormick’s opinion was well-reasoned.
“You had a board that wasn’t impartial, a course of that was dominated by the CEO, and a package deal that was approach out of any form of affordable bounds,” he said. “It’s fairly a combo.”
Mr Elson stated he expects Tesla may attempt to reconstitute the same pay package deal in Texas where the company moved its legal base earlier this 12 months after the pay ruling.
